The Azerbaijani judo team will participate in the European Cup among juniors, which will be held in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
As Idman.biz reports, 23 Azerbaijani athletes will compete in the competition to be held on July 27-28.
Nizami Imranov, Murad Muradli, Maharram Mirzayev (all 60 kg), Islam Rahimov, Nijat Naghiyev (both 66 kg), Aydin Rzayev, Suleyman Aliyev, Abil Yusubov (both 73 kg), Suleyman Shukurov, Ali Hajizade, Nahid Targuliyev. Mammadrza Hajizade (all 81 kg), Tuncay Shamil (90 kg), Nihad Shikhalizade, Ajdar Baghirov (both 100 kg), Konul Aliyeva, Farida Mirzayeva (both 48 kg), Khadija Gadashova (52 kg), Latifa Abbasova, Fidan Gasimova, Fidan Alizada, Gulnara Bayramova (all 57 kg) will go to tatami in Germany.
550 judokas from 35 countries will participate in the European Cup, which will be held in parallel with the Paris Olympics.
