The Azerbaijani judo team took the 4th place in the overall results of the Prague European Open 2024.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan’s athletes won three medals in the competition.
Rashid Elkiyev (66 kg) was the winner of the tournament, Huseyn Allahyarov (60 kg) and Jamalal Hamzatkhanov (+100 kg) were silver medalists. In the end, Azerbaijan was ahead of Italy, Ukraine, Israel, Canada and many other countries.
France took the first place (6-4-6), Germany was second (2-0-3), and the Netherlands was third (1-3-4).
