On October 11-13, the Grand Slam judo tournament will be held in Abu Dhabi with the participation of the Azerbaijani team.
Idman.biz reports that the athletes will earn rating points in the competition.
The winner of the tournament will get 1000 points, the finalists will get 700 points, and the bronze medalists will get 500 points.
Azerbaijan will be represented by 14 judokas in Grand Slam: Balabay Aghayev, Huseyn Allahyarov (both 60 kg), Ruslan Pashayev, Rashad Elkiyev (both 66 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev, Nariman Mirzayev (both 73 kg), Zelim Tckaev, Omar Rajabli (both 81 kg), Murad Fatiyev, Musa Huseynli (both 90 kg), Ushangi Kokauri, Imran Yusifov (both +100 kg), Leyla Aliyeva (48 kg) and Acelya Toprak (57 kg).
