Azerbaijan left Japan behind in the Grand Slam competitions

Azerbaijani team is in 8th place in the overall results of the Grand Slam tournament held in Abu Dhabi.

Achelya Toprak (57 kg) won 1 bronze medal on the first day of the competition, Idman.biz reports.

This result allowed us to leave behind Japan, Georgia, Italy and many other countries.

Germany and the UAE lead with one gold medal each, while France is second (0-2-2).
