Heydarov remains leader in ranking points, Kotsoiev holds second place

Olympic champion Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) continues to lead in the ranking points among judokas across all weight categories.

According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani athlete currently holds the number one position in the world ranking with a total of 9004 points. While his score was 10004 points following the Olympics, the ranking system has undergone some changes since then, resulting in older results gradually losing their ranking value.

In second place is fellow Olympic champion Zelym Kotsoiev (100 kg), who has accumulated 7762 points. Georgian Olympic champion Tato Grigalashvili (81 kg) rounds out the top three with 7335 points.
