Azerbaijani judokas are gearing up for the World Kata Championship, taking place in Las Vegas, USA, on November 9-10.
According to Idman.biz, Azerbaijan will be represented by a team of six athletes among a total of 282 competitors from 32 countries.
The judokas will showcase their skills in two kata disciplines: Nage-no-Kata and Katame-no-Kata.
Nage-no-Kata Participants:
• Malik Alahverdiyev - Tori (attacker)
• S amir Ismayilov - Uke (attacked)
• Ismayil Rzayev - Tori
• Ibrahim Aslanov - Uke
Katame-no-Kata Participants:
• Rafig Najafov - Tori
