On November 17-19, the European Championship among judokas under 23 years of age will be held in Potsdam, Germany.
According to Idman.biz, Azerbaijan will be represented in the competition by 16 judokas in 14 weight categories.
Our team has already completed preparations for the championship. Natig Bagirov, who is the adviser to the president of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF), visited the training camps of the national teams, was interested in their preparations, and wished our judokas success in the competition.
At the European Championship, judokas will perform under the leadership of senior coach Slavko Tekich, coach Rustam Alimli, head coach of women's team Rashad Mammadov and coach Imamverdi Mammadov.
Athletes will compete in individual competitions of the championship on November 17-18, and a day later in team competitions.
