Azerbaijani karate player Rahib Azim (+76 kg) won a gold medal at the Karate 1 League competition held in Poreč, Croatia.
Idman.biz reports, Azerbaijani representative has risen to the podium in the competition of athletes under 21 years of age.
Azim, who defeated all his opponents, won the title of champion.
Azerbaijan team is led by AKF general secretary Gabil Sayadov and Anar Allahverdiyev, head coach of Azerbaijan youth national team.
