Azerbaijani karate player Irina Zaretska (68 kg) won the 26th World Karate Championship.
Idman.biz reports that her opponent Elena Guirici talked about the final fight.
The Swiss karate player told her country's publication "Aargauer Zeitung" that it was an even fight in the decisive match: "It was a completely equal fight and it could have even ended with my victory. But over time, I will be happy for the silver won."
It should be noted that Irina Zaretska won 5:4 against Guirici in the final.
