Azerbaijani kickboxer qualifies for the World Games

Azerbaijan’s national team has expanded its representation for the upcoming World Games, set to take place from August 7-17 next year in Chengdu, China.

According to Idman.biz, kickboxer Amin Guliyev (63.5 kg) secured his place in the multi-sport event after reaching the semifinals at the European Championship held in Athens.

Azerbaijan’s delegation to the World Games will feature a strong lineup, including gymnasts competing in three disciplines: tumbling (Mikhail Malkin), acrobatics (mixed pair Aghasif Rahimov - Raziya Seyidli, men's pair Murad Rafiyev - Daniel Abbasov, and men’s group Riad Safarov, Rasul Seyidli, Abdullah Al-Meshaikhi, and Seymur Jafarov), and aerobics (mixed pair Vladimir Dolmatov - Madina Mustafayeva).

Additionally, three-time world karate champion Irina Zaretska (68 kg) has also qualified for the World Games.
