The opening ceremony of the European ski mountaineering championship was held in the Flaine region of France.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team is also participating in the competition in which 225 athletes from 22 countries participated.
The President of the European Consulate of the International Ski Mountaineering Federation, Gunel Badalova, who gave an opening speech at the ceremony, wished success to the athletes.
It should be noted that at the European Championship, our athletes will perform in sprint on January 10, and in vertical on January 11.
The competition will continue until January 12.
