The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (ANADA) involves local athletes in the testing process outside the country.
According to the information provided to Idman.biz by the institution's press service, test samples were taken from 58 Azerbaijani athletes in other countries in 2023 on the order of ANADA.
17 athletes in Turkiye and Russia, 12 in Austria, 8 in Bulgaria, and 4 in Japan have passed anti-doping tests.
The testing was organized within the existing cooperation of ANADA with the national anti-doping organizations of those countries.
It should be noted that last year ANADA carried out tests based on 282 international orders.
