JMACA Becomes Official Representative of IJJF in Azerbaijan

The Japanese Martial Arts and Culture Association (JMACA) has been officially recognized as the representative of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation in Azerbaijan.

In a recent meeting of the JMACA Board of Directors, held at their head office, key decisions were made regarding the development of Jiu-Jitsu in the country, Idman.biz reports.

As part of this initiative, a Jiu-Jitsu sector has been established within the association, with Ali Jafarov appointed as the Director of this newly formed sector.

Under the guidance of Atil Agamirov, JMACA aims to promote and further develop Jiu-Jitsu across Azerbaijan. Ali Jafarov has been tasked with implementing strategic actions to ensure the growth and success of the sport at both the grassroots and competitive levels.

Preparations for the Azerbaijan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will be held at the end of this year, were also discussed.
Another new appointment to the Association has also been made official. Elshad Karimov, chairman of the Organizational Committee of JMACA, was elected to the post of secretary general.
