Tofig Musayev: "Hosting the Rizin Candidate Series in Baku would be great"

"It would be amazing if Azerbaijan hosted the Rizin series in the UFC."

Idman.biz reports that MMA fighter Tofig Musayev shared this on the PodCat.

Musayev believes this event could generate significant interest: "Imagine the best fighters from around the world coming to Baku to compete in qualifying matches for the chance to join the main card. Of course, organizing such an event requires funding and sponsors, but it would greatly boost interest in MMA among the younger generation in Azerbaijan. It would also help attract attention from other organizations like Bellator."

Last year, Tofig Musayev defeated Japan’s Koji Takeda in Landmark 7, organized by Japan’s Rizin in Baku.
