The athletes who will carry our three-colored flag at the opening ceremony of the Gymnasium Sports Games in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, have been announced.
According to information from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this honor has been entrusted to para-swimmer Ali Valiyev and taekwondo athlete Khuraman Javadzade.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 24.
160 athletes from Azerbaijan, who are under 18 years of age and studying in school and vocational institutions, will represent Azerbaijan at the Gymnasium, which will last until October 31. 71 countries will participate in this event, where Azerbaijani athletes will compete in 16 sports.
