Botham fell into the river while fishing in the Moyle River with his rival, Merv Heusen. The river was full of crocodiles. Fortunately, Merv was able to quickly pull the 68-year-old veteran cricketer out of the water.
Bothem suffered serious injuries after hitting the ship during the incident.
