World Sumo Championship will be held in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan will host the world sumo championship in 2026.

In Krotosyn, Poland, International Sumo Federation has made a decision to hold the world championship in Azerbaijan, Idman.biz reports.

Azerbaijan won the right to host the world championship, ahead of other countries, in the candidacy contest put forward by Japanese Martial Arts and Culture Association.
