There was a welcoming ceremony for Azerbaijani athletes after the Universiade - PHOTO

Azerbaijani athletes who successfully represented their country at the 2nd Turkic States Universiade have returned to their homeland.

According to Idman.biz, the team members were met by representatives of the sports community at Heydar Aliyev airport.

The athletes won 26 medals at the Universiade held in Kazakhstan. 7 of them are gold, 7 silver, 12 bronze.
