The Congress of the European Fair Play Movement was started in Baku.

The award ceremony of the EFPM was held in Baku. Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Mariana Vasileva, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Chairman of the Fair Play Commission Khazar Isayev, President of the EFPM Philippe Housiaux spoke at the ceremony. This was followed by the presentation of the institution's gala awards in various categories.

At the event, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva and General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee Azer Aliyev were awarded prizes and diplomas of the IOC by IOC at the event.
