As Idman.biz reports, Azerbaijani swimmer Maryam Sheikhalizadeh Khanghah said this at the farewell ceremony for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
She said that the team has undergone high preparation: "We practiced both in the morning and in the evening, the preparation should reap the rewards. I hope for a successful performance and a high performance."
The swimmer, who will compete in the 50 m freestyle at the Olympics, also expressed confidence that the Azerbaijani team will succeed in Paris: "I believe in everyone and wish them success. I can't wait for the Olympics to begin. There are only a few days left."
The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games will start on July 26 and end on August 11.
