Archery competitions have started at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
As Idman.biz reports, Yaylagul Ramazanova, the representative of Azerbaijan, joined the fight.
The women's qualifying took place today. 64 archers hit the target 72 times. Yaylagul scored 647 points in these shots. She made 23 10-point shots, 6 of which hit the center of the target. The athlete took 39th place.
Ramazanova will face Qixuan An, who took the 26th place, in the 1/32 final. Her opponent completed the stage with 656 points. The 1/32 final will start on July 30.
The winners of the women's archery competition will be announced on August 3.

As Idman.biz reports, the first athlete of Azerbaijan will start the Olympics today.
This will come true in the archery competition. Yaylagul Ramazanova will compete in the qualifying round a day before the opening ceremony on July 26.
The race will start at 11:30 Baku time. Yaylagul will start the fight in the 30th pair. She will perform in parallel with Turkish representative Elif Berra Gokkir. Azerbaijani athlete will compete from lane B.
The 64 archers who will compete in the qualifying round will determine the 1/32 final pairs. Athletes will form pairs based on their ranking in the order of 1st 64th, 2nd 63rd, 3rd 62nd.
Ramazanova will go down in the history of the Olympics as the second Azerbaijani archer. In Rio 2016, Olga Senyuk took 37th place in the qualification round with 623 points. She lost 1:7 to the Chinese Chao Hui in the 1/32 final.
