Paris 2024: Draw seedings for judo announced

The draw of the judo athletes for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games has been made.

As Idman.biz reports, the opponents of the Azerbaijani athletes who will participate in the competition have been announced.

Azerbaijan will compete with 7 male and 2 female judokas. The competitions on the tatami will start on July 27.

Four Azerbaijani athletes were among the seeded in the draw. These are Balabay Aghayev (60 kg), Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg), Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) and Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg). Three of them, Agayev, Heydarov and Kotsoyev, will start the competition from the 1/8 finals.
