Danish road cyclist Solbjork Minke Anderson has been forced to withdraw from the Olympics.
As Idman.biz reports, the 19-year-old was hit on Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened while he was exercising near his home. Anderson had to miss the most prestigious competition of the quadrennial because of a broken collarbone.
The cyclist expressed her regret: "No words, just devastated. Olympics games stays a dream for me."
In Paris-2024, Anderson will be replaced by two-time national champion Rebecca Kerner.
Cycling competitions at the Olympic Games will be held from July 27 to August 4.
