The triathlon competition at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games has been postponed again.
As Idman.biz reports, the competition in which the Azerbaijani athlete Rostislav Pevtsov will participate has been postponed indefinitely.
The reason for this is that the water quality in the River Seine is not satisfactory. Representatives of Paris 2024 Organizing Committee, World Triathlon, technical and medical personnel of these institutions, International Olympic Committee, Meteo France, Paris and Ile-de-France Prefecture administrations decided on the postponement.
The men's triathlon competition was supposed to start on July 30 at 10:00 Baku time. Later, the start was scheduled for 12:45 on July 31.
