The judo competitions of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games continue.
As Idman.biz reports, the award winners in two more weights will be determined today.
Azerbaijan was represented in men's wrestling. Eljan Hajiyev tried his strength in 90 kg and stopped fighting in the 1/8 finals.

Eljan Hajiyev started the Olympics from the 1/16 Elimination Round. The first opponent of our European champion was Mikail Ozerler (Turkiye). Hajiyev won the stage thanks to a difficult victory. Unfortunately, our athlete lost to Ngayap Hambou Maxime-Gael (France) and said goodbye to the Olympics.
Azerbaijani judokas won a medal in Paris 2024. Hidayat Heydarov of Azerbaijan took Olympic men's -73 kg title in epic battle for gold.
