"I live for judo and will continue to perform as long as I can."
Idman.biz reports that Olympic champion Zelym Kotsoiev said this at a press conference.
"I am feeling euphoric ... it took me a while to get there and now it is like being in a dream and frankly I don't want to wake up", said Kostoiev, now a European, world, and Olympic champion.
Kotsoyev said that he intends to continue his victories. "Last year I won the European Championship, then I won the title of world champion and now I climbed to the top of the podium at the Olympics. What goals will I set for myself from now on? I don't want to stop. I have to continue. I will rest a little, heal my injury and start training again. Even on vacation I'm a type of person who can't live without training. A week goes by and I start to miss the gym. That's why the goals are the highest, the Los Angeles Olympics are ahead," said Zelym.
Kotsoiev defeated Ilya Sulamanidze (Georgia) in the final of the Olympics.
