Azerbaijani boxer Enmanuel Reyes, who fights at 92 kg weight, met with Pla (Spain). Alfonso won his 3rd consecutive victory in the French capital - 4:1 (28:29, 29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 30:27).
With that, Dominguez qualified for the finals. The decisive meeting will take place on August 9.
Alfonso, who won a bronze medal in Tokyo 2020, entered the history of Azerbaijan as the first boxer to win two Olympic medals.
