Rio 2016 bronze medalist Sabah Shariati went to the mat to repeat his success after 8 years. Amin Mirzazadeh (Iran) was the opponent of Azerbaijan's "classic" who will try his strength in the match for the 3rd place. The match ended with the defeat of Azerbaijani wrestler. Since the Iranian athlete won with a score of 4:0, Sabah finished the Olympics in 5th place.
