Azerbaijan's national Greco-Roman wrestler Sabah Shariati has finished his career.

The 35-year-old athlete made this decision after taking 5th place at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. After losing to Amin Mirzazadeh (Iran) in the match for the bronze medal, he kissed the carpet and the opponent lifted him on his shoulder.
This video caused interest on social media and wrestling fans said goodbye to Sabah.
Shariati is the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
