Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani taekwondo player Gashim Magomedov (58 kg), who scooped up a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, shared this on his social network account.
In his video sharing, he thanked his fans for their support: "Thank you all very much for your congratulations and support. I hugged everyone. I physically don’t have time to answer everyone, but I see and read all comments."
Magomedov showed his canes during the filming and emphasized that he has new "helpers": "I have come for a doping test. I haven't slept yet. Meet my assistants who are my new friends."
Gashim faced South Korean Park Tae-Joon for the championship in Paris 2024. The taekwondo player was injured in the first round and could not continue the fight in the second round and finished the Olympics with a silver medal.
