Azerbaijan Olympic House operating in Paris hosted an event dedicated to the victory of Azerbaijan’s Olympic athletes.
Silver and bronze medalists of the Olympic Games, Gashim Magomedov and Hasrat Jafarov, were greeted with applause at the meeting. The participants of the event congratulated them on their victory and expressed their pride in them, Idman.biz reports.
Members of the Azerbaijan Olympic Team, Olympic and world champions, official representatives of many international organizations, various countries, athletes representing Azerbaijan at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games and their coaches, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora and other persons took part in the event. Philippine gymnast Carlos Yulo, who won the double Olympic Champion title in Paris, also participated among the guests and shared his impressions of victory with Azerbaijani athletes.
In the event, young singer Mardan Kazimov performed various Azerbaijani music.
