The women's marathon race for the Paris 2024 Olympics has ended.
Sifan Hassan from the Netherlands won the title of Olympic champion, Idman.biz reports.
The athlete who showed a result of 2:22:55 seconds also broke the Olympic record. Athletes from Ethiopia and Kenya took the next places.
Hassan won her 3rd medal in the French capital. Before that, she won bronze medals in 5000m and 1000m. Hassan, who won gold for similar distances at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, won the title of Olympic champion 3 times in Paris.
