President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikayil Jabbarov congratulated Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) who won a medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
The head of the federation shared about it on the social network, Idman.biz reports.
Jabbarov said that the Azerbaijani wrestling team won the last medal in the French capital: "We won our third and last medal in wrestling at the Olympic Games. Our freestyle wrestler Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) showed great perseverance and won a bronze medal in Paris2024. We congratulate our athlete, his parents and coaches."
Giorgi defeated Murazi Mchelidze (Ukraine) in the match for the bronze medal.
