Azerbaijani rower will take part in the world championship
The World Canoe Championship among teenagers and young adults will be held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
As Idman.biz reports, this was announced by the press service of the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation.
Pasha Askerov will represent Azerbaijan in the competition to be held on July 17-21. During the four-day championship, athletes will try their hand at 200, 500 and 1000 meters in canoeing, kayaking and academic rowing.
About 1000 athletes from 64 countries will participate in the competition.
