This statement was made by Nurlan Pashayev, who secured a gold medal at the international Mingachevir Regatta.
He mentioned that the competition was more challenging than he anticipated: "However, thanks to intensive training, I secured the first place. I also placed first at the Vienna Regatta held in Austria in June. Since returning from there, I have been preparing for competitions responsibly without taking a break. I expected this result from myself. Our main competitions going forward will be in 2025."
Nurlan Pashayev excelled in the 1500m event in the academic rowing category for athletes born in 2006-2007.
The international Mingachevir Regatta will conclude on October 18.
