Two more Azerbaijani athletes have secured medals at the 2024 Mingachevir Regatta, an international competition in rowing, kayaking, and canoeing.
According to Idman.biz, Amil Ramazanov won gold and Javid Valizade took bronze at the races held at the Lower Kondalanchay storage pool.
Amil Ramazanov claimed first place in the 200m kayak race for athletes born in 2006-2007. Meanwhile, Javid Valizade finished third in the 200m canoe race for athletes born in 2008-2009.
On the first day of the competition, Azerbaijani athletes earned a total of 9 medals. The regatta will conclude on October 18.
