The 29th General Assembly of the European Shooting Confederation has set to work in Baku.
According to Idman.biz, the president of the International Shooting Federation, Luciano Rossi, the leaders of the European Shooting Confederation and about 50 European countries participated in the event.
Speaking at the Assembly, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Mariana Vasileva welcomed the participants and expressed her satisfaction that this event will be held in Baku: "Shooting is one of the popular sports in Azerbaijan. I am sure that only positive decisions will be made in this Assembly."
It should be noted that in the Assembly held every 2 years, the voting process for the countries that will host the European Championship in the next years, discussions on the development directions of the federations in the next years will be carried out.
