The table tennis players of Azerbaijan will participate in the II Universiade of Turkic-speaking peoples, which will be held in Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that 6 Azerbaijani sportsmen will compete in the prestigious competition that will start on November 5.
Under the leadership of the head coach of the selection team, Farhad Ismayilov, girls' Zemfira Mikayilova, Laman Abdulhamidova, Khadija Abilzade, boys' Nihad Mammadov, Kanan Panahov and Fakhri Abdullayev will compete.
Zaur Mikayilov will participate in this competition as a judge.
The fight will end on November 9.
