The Chuncheon 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships has ended.
Idman.biz reports that 963 athletes from 127 countries participated in the competition and the winner of 20 sets of medals was determined.
The national team of Azerbaijan finished the World Cup with 2 awards. Both medals were bronze. Vasif Salimov took 3rd place in 63 kg and Huseyn Khudiyev in 73 kg.
Out of 127 countries that participated in the championship, only 30 were represented among the prize winners. Azerbaijan took 21st place with 2 bronzes. Canada, India, and Italy also got the same number of third places.
The first place in the list of medals was taken by Iran, which won 7 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
