The European championship among junior taekwondo players, held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, has ended.
On the last day of the competition, 2 more athletes of the Azerbaijan national team rose to the podium, Idman.biz reports.
One of the members of the team, Novruz Aliyev (45 kg) won the title of European champion by defeating all his opponents. Anar Abdullazade (37 kg) won the silver medal only after losing in the final.
Azerbaijan team finished the competition with 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze awards. Earlier, Gulay Aliyeva (44 kg) and Farid Alizadeh (61 kg) took the third place in our team.
In the first place, the boys' team of Azerbaijan took the third place in the team score.
