An extensive meeting of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) was held.

AVF president Shahin Baghirov, vice-president Bahruz Guliyev, general secretary Faig Orujov, members of the management board, heads of top league teams, regional volleyball clubs and other employees of the federation took part in the event.
The president of the Federation drew attention to the issues to be discussed. Orujov gave detailed information about the first issue on the agenda. The general secretary said that 8 Regional Voleyball Clubs (RVCs) were established in order to develop volleyball in the regions, create lower age groups, and ensure a healthy lifestyle for young girls and boys.
Today, hundreds of teenagers play volleyball in the capital and regions. Emphasizing the importance of them playing in clubs and being involved in national teams in the future, Orujov said that for this purpose, contracts will be signed between RVCs and clubs playing in the High League. After that, the leaders of the club and RVC signed the official documents related to this issue.
Thus, Sumgait RVC (girl), East Zangezur RVC (girl) will be under the control of Absheron VC, Baku RVC (girl, boy), Oghuz RVC (girl, boy), Sumgayit RVC (boy) will be under the control of AZERRAIL VC, Nakhchivan VF (boy), Sharki Zangezur RVC (boy), Tovuz RVC (girl, boy), Hajigabul RVC (girl, boy) will be under the control of Murov Az Terminal VC, Ganja RVC (boy) will be under the control of Neftchi VC, Nakhchivan VF (girl) to National Aviation Academy VC, and Ganja RVC (girl) to Ganja VC.
At the event, it was noted that this project is of great importance for both the club and RVCs, and it will be successful for Azerbaijani volleyball, and the clubs and RVCs were wished success in their activities.
