Azerbaijan will host the 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship.
According to Idman.biz, the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) announced that Azerbaijan, along with Turkiye, Czech Republic, and Sweden, will co-host the tournament. Each country will hold games for one group, with Turkiye hosting the playoffs and final matches.
The final stage of the European Championship will feature 24 teams, with 12 already qualified. Alongside the host nations, Serbia, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, France, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Slovakia have secured their spots based on their strong performances in the last tournament.
The remaining 12 teams will qualify in August next year.
