The European Weightlifting Championship among 15- and 17-year-old teenagers continues in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Today Muhammadali Mammadzada was on the bench in the Azerbaijan national team, as Idman.biz reports.
He tried his strength in the weight class of 96 kg among athletes under the age of 15.
Mammadzada was awarded the bronze medal by lifting 120 kg clean-and-jerk in the European Championships.
The representative of Goyazan Weightlifting Club lifted 146 kg over his head in the push-up movement and won a silver medal in this movement.
Muhammadali won a bronze medal in the final ranking with a total of 266 kg (120+146).
The competition, which was attended by 415 (198 girls + 217 boys) athletes from 38 countries, will end on June 23.
