Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, met with the President of the International Ski Mountaineering Federation, Regula Meier.
Per Idman.biz, during the meeting, Minister Gayibov welcomed the guest and provided an overview of the achievements and ongoing efforts in the field of sports in Azerbaijan.
The discussions focused on strengthening ties with the International Ski Mountaineering Federation, developing ski mountaineering in Azerbaijan, and preparing for next year’s Ski Mountaineering World Championship, which will be hosted in the country.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation Gunel Badalova, and Director of Shahdag Tourism Center Rustam Najafov.
