The Metropol Trophy figure skating tournament, part of the Challenger series, has concluded.
According to Idman.biz, the last day of the competition saw the determination of the medalists in the ice dance category.
Two days ago, 18 out of 19 duets that performed in the rhythm dance continued their competition with the free program. Two couples representing Azerbaijan also took to the ice at this international event held in Nice, France.
The duet of Samanta Ritter and Daniel Brykalov, which placed 15th in the rhythm dance with a score of 50.04, improved to 11th place this time, earning a total of 84.33 points. Ultimately, the couple finished the tournament in 11th place with an overall score of 134.37.
Maksin Uiterbi and Aleksandr Kolosovski secured 18th place with a score of 67.96. After placing 19th in the rhythm dance with 44.72 points, their total score was 112.68, which kept them in 18th place.
The first place was secured by the Lithuanian duo of Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius.
