Azerbaijan's champion, Qarabag, suffered a 0-3 defeat at home against Ajax. Among the Turkish teams, Fenerbahce shared points with Manchester United in a home draw, while Besiktas secured a 1-0 victory over Lyon away.
One of Qarabag’s future opponents, the French team Lyon, is leading its group. In other results involving Qarabag’s upcoming rivals, Olympiacos defeated Malmö, while FCSB lost heavily to Rangers.
The next round of matches will take place on November 6-7.
