UWW announced the final rankings of the year among freestyle wrestlers.
Idman.biz reports that 2 wrestlers of the Azerbaijan national team - Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) and Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) took place in the first "four".
Both of the athletes won a silver medal at the World Championship held in Belgrade. Nurmagomedov lost to Rizabek Aitmukhana (Kazakhstan), and Magomedov lost to Ahmet Tajudinova (Bahrain) in the final and took the second place.
It should be noted that Magomedov won a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympics.
