Evaluating 2023, the wrestler said that he won unforgettable victories: "This year I became the European champion and took the second place in the World Championship. At the same time, I won a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. All this made this year unforgettable for me. The World Wrestling Championship among military men held in our country can be considered the competition of the year. It's true, even though I didn't participate, everything was at a high level, and the members of our team were successful and achieved high results."
Jafarov said that the upcoming year will be more intense: "2024 is the Olympic year. In this regard, I would like the new year to be auspicious and full of success for our athletes. It will be a very important year for us. My main and first plan for the upcoming new year is to be strong and disciplined in training. Because only in this case it is possible to win."
