90 Olympic licenses will be played at the World Wrestling Championship

A total of 90 licenses for the 2024 Summer Games in Paris will be played at the World Wrestling Championship to be held in Belgrade on September 16-24.

İdman.biz reports that participants will compete for five quotas in each of the Olympic categories. Four medalists will win vacancies for their countries. There is also a duel of wrestlers who lost their matches for bronze medals. The winners of these matches will also earn vacant seats.

The Azerbaijani team will be represented by 26 athletes at the World Cup.

Greco-Roman wrestling team: Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), Murad Mammadov (63 kg), Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg), Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg), Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), Rafig Huseynov (82 kg), Islam Abbasov (87 kg), Arif Niftullayev (97 kg) and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg).

Freestyle wrestling: Aliabbas Rzazade (57 kg), Intigam Velizade (61 kg), Haji Aliyev (65 kg), Magomed-Bashir Khaniyev (70 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg), Orkhan Abasov (79 kg), Abubakr Abakarov ( 86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg).

Women's team: Maria Stadnik (50 kg), Elnura Mammadova (53 kg), Jalya Aliyeva (57 kg), Alyona Kolesnik (59 kg), Elis Manolova (62 kg) and Birgul Soltanova (65 kg).
