5 members of the Azerbaijan national team joined the fight. Only one of them reached the semi-finals. Mariya Stadnik, 2-time World Champion and 11-time European Champion, qualified for the decisive match with an easy victory. The other four wrestlers were defeated by their first opponents. Elnura Mammadova (53 kg), Birgul Soltanova (62 kg) and Elis Manolova (68 kg) stumbled in the qualification stage, Jala Aliyeva (57 kg) stumbled in the quarter finals.

Maria Stadnik started the fight from the quarter-finals. Gabija Dilyte (Lithuania) was the opponent of the 2-time World and 11-time European Champion. Stadnik, who won with a score of 10:0, entered the semi-finals with her victory in 51 seconds. She will meet the winner of Julie Sabatie (France) - Oksana Livach (Ukraine) for the qualification to Paris-2024.

Elnura Mammadova took to the tatami in the qualifying. She said goodbye to the chance to qualify for Paris-2024 with a 0:4 defeat by Veronika Rjabovolova (North Macedonia).

Jala Aliyeva started the fight from the quarter-finals. She fought against Alina Hrushyna Akobiia (UKR). Aliyeva, who lost with a score of 0:10, could not advance to the semi-finals.

Birgul Soltanova wrestled with Ameline Douarre (France) in the qualifying round. Soltanova, who lost in the meeting with the score of 4:6, stopped the fight.

Elis Manolova also started the competition from the qualification stage. Our European champion faced Mimi Hristova (Bulgaria). She lost her chance to get a license by losing 2:4.
It should be noted that on the first day of the competition, Azerbaijan’s Greco-Roman wrestlers could not get a license. Free wrestlers will compete on the last day of the tournament, which will end on April 7.
